Hannover Fair 2016 – Result

The Fraunhofer Adaptronics Alliance (FAA) presented for the tenth time now fascinating exhibits at the Hannover Fair. Following the successful completion of the fair on 29 April, the FAA can also draw a positive balance.

In this year America was the partner country of the fair. For this reason, the event was opened by Angela Merkel and Barack Obama. On the theme of “Integrated Industry – Discover Solutions“, over 5,000 companies from more than 60 countries presented fabrics and energy systems of the future. With more than 190,000 visitors, of which 50,000 arrived from abroad, the fair achieves 2016 new record results.

The highlight at the technology stand Adaptronics included a sensor ring for offshore wind turbines (IKTS), sensor stockings (ISC) and an efficient and functional air-cooled drive unit (LBF).

In 2016 the members of the FAA and the co-exhibitors could register an especially high number in professional visitors with concrete business interest, so that subsequently concrete projects could be initiated. Next year, the FAA likes to tie in this success by attending the Hannover Fair Industry from 24 to 28 April 2017.
